Job Summary
Daudet Creek Contracting is seeking several full-time Labourers to support operations in and near Kitimat, BC. The successful candidates will perform diverse tasks to ensure that construction projects are meeting deadlines and being completed in a secure and timely manner.

Responsibilities
Perform tasks on the labour crew to support earth works operations
Provide general clean up and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of work area
Conduct ground work including shoveling snow, raking, pumping water, culvert installation
Act as a spotter for heavy equipment
Assisting other trades as required
Ensures that work is completed during regular hours
May perform other duties as required

Requirements
Pipe-laying and underground service installation experience
Robust Safety First Attitude
Must possess minimum Class 5 license and provide Driver Abstract
Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
Must have experience working with a variety of construction hand tools in a protected manner
Must possess certified steel toe boots

Preference Given
to those with direct experience in underground service installation
Completed CSTS 20 certificate, WHMIS 2015, Bear Aware




OFA level 1 certificate
Traffic Control certificate

Work Conditions
Work week consists of 5 days, 10 hours/day, available 7 days/week as required to meet work load scheduling needs
Competitive pay
Work will be outdoors in a variety of terrain and weather conditions

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Kitimat, BC V8C 2P4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:
Class 5 Licence (required)
