Become an Ice Rink Arena Attendant at the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. This role involves maintaining ice quality and providing excellent customer service to facility users.
As an Arena Attendant, you will work under the Arena Superintendent to monitor the ice rink's condition and ensure authorized access to the facility. Your responsibilities will include scraping, brushing, and leveling the ice, as well as addressing inquiries about the facility’s services and regulations. This position requires both teamwork and client-focused communication skills for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain ice rink quality and safety
• Respond to inquiries about facility services and rules
• Operate edger and other ice maintenance equipment
• Ensure access to facility is compliant with regulations
• Communicate effectively with facility users
Requirements:
• High school diploma and related experience
• Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification
• Experience in ice rink maintenance and customer service
• Robust client focus, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts
