Your responsibility will be to plan and conduct effective skate lessons, ensuring safety while providing engaging instruction. You'll need to foster a friendly, supportive atmosphere at the recreation center, and adapt lessons based on the abilities of your participants. Collaboration with fellow instructors will enhance the skater experience and community participation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement skate lesson plans for diverse skill levels
• Supervise on-ice activities and public skating sessions




• Create a positive and inclusive workplace for all visitors
• Work with colleagues to deliver cohesive instructions
• Uphold safety standards and cooperative practices
Requirements:
• Certification from the Recreational Skate Instructor Course
• Experience teaching skating/hockey relevant to diverse ages
• Willingness to adapt to various work shifts
• Proficiency in skating or hockey skills
• Valid certifications in Emergency First Aid and CPR-C
