Elevate your career as an Investigator & Advisor with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). In this hybrid role, address human rights complaints while promoting workplace equity in a dynamic workplace.
The TTC is looking for two dedicated Investigator & Advisors for its Human Rights & Investigations Department. In this full-time position, you will assess and resolve complaints related to workplace harassment, discrimination, and violence. Your investigative skills will shine as you conduct interviews, gather evidence and develop essential training programs on human rights policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and investigate complex complaints on policies
• Conduct interviews and gather critical evidence
• Draft thorough reports outlining findings
• Facilitate mediations and conflict resolution
• Deliver human rights education and guidance
Requirements:
• Deep understanding of Ontario Human Rights Code
• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Law
• Experience in conflict resolution and mediation techniques
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Empathy to handle sensitive situations confidentially
