This permanent full-time position reports to the Director of Capital Equipment & Supply Chain. As a Buyer, you will collaborate with operations, finance, and suppliers to fulfill procurement needs efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will bring experience in purchasing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze purchasing needs and coordinate procurement activities
• Prepare purchase orders and bid requests for materials
• Negotiate contracts while adhering to budgetary limitations




• Maintain computerized procurement and inventory records
• Provide operational support during absences of team members

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of Buyer experience
• Knowledge of mine materials and budgeting principles
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Sage
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to work evenings and weekends if needed
