This role is ideal for an Intermediate Archaeologist with marine expertise looking to join WSP's Heritage team. You will work on a range of projects, from submerged cultural landscapes to impactful environmental assessments, all while supporting collaboration with Indigenous communities and various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and assist with archaeological field programs and monitoring
• Conduct underwater investigations and research relevant data
• Plan and execute marine archaeological surveys effectively
• Work alongside a team of senior archaeologists and stakeholders
• Implement project management activities across multiple phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or similar
• Intermediate-level archaeological field experience required
• Knowledge of BC Heritage and permitting processes
• Experience with marine archaeology and related technologies
• Class 5 Driver’s License; travel to remote areas
