Join Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital as a Social Worker in the Communication, Learning, and Behaviour Program. Work full time in a collaborative setting supporting children with autism and feeding challenges.

This temporary position is vital within the interdisciplinary team at Holland Bloorview. You will provide counseling, assess psychosocial factors affecting treatment, and facilitate family resource navigation. Engage with families to improve care participation and develop coping strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for families
• Provide individual and family counseling as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams addressing psych-social factors




• Support caregivers with interventions within home environments
• Document assessments and interventions according to regulations

Requirements:
• Proven counseling experience in healthcare or community settings
• Knowledge of evidence-informed counseling methods
• Experience with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities
• Familiarity with the Ontario Autism Program
• Understanding of social determinants impacting family well-being
