The Upper Canada District School Board seeks a dedicated Registered Behaviour Analyst to provide tailored behavioural support to enhance educational outcomes. This 1.0 FTE permanent role focuses on evidence-based practice in schools, fostering the development and training of school staff.
This position, reporting to the Chief Psychologist, plays a crucial role in delivering behaviour assessment and intervention. You’ll collaborate with educators to design individualized support plans and career development workshops, bridging community resources and school strategies effectively. The RBA will utilize strong analytical skills and expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis, making a meaningful impact on students' behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and develop individualized behaviour support plans
• Monitor and evaluate intervention outcomes
• Train and supervise behavioural support staff
• Facilitate school team consultations regarding safety and behavioural challenges
• Create and implement professional development resources
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis
• RBA certification in good standing
• Three years of experience in an educational setting
• Commitment to evidence-based practice in behavioural intervention
• Strong collaborative skills with community involvement
