Foundations for the Future Charter Academy is hiring a Grade 4 Teacher in Calgary. This temporary teaching position aims to inspire and nurture student learning.

Starting on October 8, 2026, this 1.0 FTE contract will continue until June 29, 2027, focusing on the Direct Instruction Teaching and Learning Framework. Qualified Alberta-certified teachers with a passion for teaching and a supportive manner towards students are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver instruction according to Teaching Quality Standards
• Teach approved courses under the Education Act
• Regular feedback on student performance
• Maintain an inviting and safe classroom atmosphere
• Follow additional directives from the Principal Educator

Requirements:
• Certification from Alberta Education is a must
• Valid police check and first aid certificate
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude towards teaching
• Ability to create structured, engaging learning spaces for students
• Commitment to qualified growth through coaching
