About the Opportunity
The West Parry Sound Health Centre currently has an opening for a Manager of Operations and Allied Health at our Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinics.

Reporting to the Director of Integrated Primary Care, the Manager of Operations and Allied Healthis responsible for the operational coordination, standardization, and performance of primary care services across a multi-site rural network of NPLCs, and for the direct management of the regional allied health team in a fiscally responsible manner.

Working within a matrix leadership model, the manager supports the consistent delivery of high-quality, team-based care by advancing operational integration across sites, optimizing interdisciplinary resources, and implementing program priorities aligned with organizational and Ontario Health system objectives.

Primary Responsibilities :

Lead the coordination and standardization of operational processes across all primary care sites

Identify and address variation in workflows, access models, and service delivery approaches

Support implementation of new clinic models (e.g. improved access initiatives)

Monitor operational performance indicators across sites

Develop and adhere to budget, manage all resources in a fiscally responsible fashion

including the identification and correction of inefficiencies. Demonstrate the ability to

recover and adjust to unforeseen events.

Regional Allied Health Team Management





Provide direct operational leadership to the regional allied health team.

Be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of allied health staff.

Support consistent application of collective agreements and labour requirements (for applicable roles)

Optimize deployment and scheduling across NPLC sites and partner organizations

Support to Site Managers

Provide operational guidance and coordination to site NP managers

Support site managers in

Workflow optimization

Implementation of new initiatives

Addressing operational challenges

Demonstrating innovative approaches to care delivery, acknowledging our critical role in the Ontario healthcare system.

More About You
To qualify for the role, you will need to have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Population Health, or related health care field. Master’s preferred.

Regulated health skilled or relevant health administration background preferred

Minimum 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in healthcare

Experience in primary care, community health, or rural health systems preferred

Demonstrated experience in

Operational leadership

Team-based care models





Strong understanding of Ontario health system structures (OHTs, primary care models)

Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references.

Parry Sound is a beautiful town, located on the shores of an inland "ocean", Georgian Bay. The area boasts many beautiful beaches, parks and trails. It is ideally situated just off highway 400, in the Southermost part of Northern Ontario. This charming waterfront town is within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and home to 6,500 residents in the town itself, and over 14,000 in the immediate area.
