Mercer is looking for a senior professional to lead its Alternatives team. You will be based in Toronto or Montreal and will report to the Regional CIO. Your focus will include mentoring the Alternatives team, developing strategic proposals, and ensuring the delivery of innovative investment solutions. Collaborate with the Canadian CIOs and represent Mercer’s capabilities to clients and markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage alternative investment strategies
• Join Alternatives Committees representing Canada
• Mentor the Alternatives Investment team
• Coordinate with global leaders on investment capabilities
• Promote Mercer’s Alternatives through thought leadership initiatives
Requirements:
• BA/BS in finance or a related field
• 15+ years of alternatives investing experience
• CFA and CAIA preferred
• Proven business development achievements
• Fluent communication required in English and French
