Established referral relationships with local veterinary practices

The Opportunity
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you'll be responsible for managing a broad range of urgent and critical cases while working alongside experienced colleagues in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key responsibilities include:

Assessing,



diagnosing and treating emergency presentations

Managing medical and surgical emergencies

Working collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff

Providing clear communication and guidance to pet owners

Maintaining excellent relationships with referring veterinarians

Delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive team environment

What We're Looking For
Applicants should have:

Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Nova Scotia

Previous emergency or emergency referral experience (preferred)

Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills

Confidence managing emergency cases independently

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to practice
