Artemis Gold is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for its Blackwater Mine, focusing on tailings management and environmental safety. This role requires expertise in geotechnical engineering within a remote mining context.

As part of the Tailings & Water team, you will leverage your qualified engineering background to enhance site safety and compliance. Responsibilities include developing tailings management strategies, overseeing dam construction, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Update life of mine tailings management strategy
• Coordinate dam performance evaluations and operational reviews
• Lead construction monitoring and materials testing




• Develop operational budgets for tailings facilities
• Engage with external stakeholders for compliance and consultations

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or mining engineering
• 7-10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of geosynthetics and hydrology
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Registered or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
