Overview Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with strong financials aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Location: Blackwater Mine Site
Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation
Responsibilities Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
Managing, coordinating and scheduling daily earthworks construction activities, such as: building of roads, accesses, and laydown yards
stripping and developing borrowing areas building and compacting of dams and berms
installing culverts, french drains and ponds
snow removal
road maintenance

Supervision of equipment operators who run the following equipment: rock trucks, water trucks, packers, backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders.
Effective coordination and utilization of onsite resources to deliver the project schedule safely, productively and on time.
The ability to delegate tasks to teams and business partners.
Must be able to work collaboratively with engineers, surveyors,



and other construction specialists.
Assist with supporting employees within the Employee Development Pathway and maintaining appropriate records.
May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.
Qualifications 10+ years leading large teams in civil earthworks, mining, Tailings Storage Facility or earth dam construction
Proven leadership skills with safety, efficiency, and productivity being paramount
Technical skills: must be able to interpret plans, drawings, maps
Positive knowledge and understanding in heavy equipment capabilities and limitations
Time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven dedication to seeing projects through to completion
