The University of Ottawa is seeking a Postdoctoral Part-Time Professor for the Sustainable Electrical Power Systems course starting Winter 2027. Engage students in renewable energy technologies and smart grid principles.
This position is located at the Main Campus within the Faculty of Engineering. The ideal candidate should have expertise in electrical power generation, demonstrated by teaching experience or relevant professional work. A doctorate in a related field is required, along with a Professional Engineer license.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach the Sustainable Electrical Power Systems course (ELG4126)
• Attend tutorials for additional student support
• Instruct on renewable energy and grid integration
• Evaluate and grade student performance
• Prepare course materials and lectures
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer license required
• Proven teaching experience in related subjects
