Primary Duties

- Perform key cropping operations including seeding, spraying, harvesting, and other related agricultural duties
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy farm machinery and vehicles
- Perform general servicing, cleaning, and routine maintenance on farm equipment, machinery, and vehicles
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair farm machinery
- Demonstrate a drive for continuous improvement, a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to workplace safety

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Evenings and weekends as needed, especially during planting and harvest season

Skills & Requirements

- Previous cash crop farm experience required
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
- Sprayer Operator Licence is an asset
- Proven experience safely operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining heavy farm machinery and equipment
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual labour throughout the workday
- Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and proficiency with hand and power tools
- Reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, with solid problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Willingness to work long hours, including evenings and weekends during planting and harvest seasons
