GFL Environmental is looking for a Portables Driver to join our team in Duncan, British Columbia!
An Ideal candidate will safely operate pumper truck and auxiliary equipment on an assigned route to service customers in a safe and efficient manner. Deliver, pick up, clean and service portable units, wash stations and holding tanks. Deliver collected waste to disposal site.

Work Schedule:
any 5 days per week & 2 day off, rotational
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections
Perform driver check-ins at days end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner
Follow all protocols while dumping loads at facilities
May perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager
General yard clean-up
Assist with set up and take down of temporary fencing
Proactively participate in GFL safety culture and training
Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks & knowledge of industry an asset
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, Air brakes endorsement is an asset.
Physically intensive:
ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively using proper lifting techniques
Exposure to weather elements, noise and dust
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Robust customer focus
Knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
