Over the past 30 years, The Concord Group of companies has also diversified into business sectors such as: software and information technology, telecommunications, and green energy projects in solar, wind and hydroelectric power generation.

We are actively growing our Accounting Team and hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Green Energy team on-site in our Vancouver head office.

Responsibilities:





Prepares financial statements and internal management reports and assists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies and projects

Prepare and review journal entries and accounts payable

Ensures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processes

Prepares and reviews intercompany and related party transactions, at entity and consolidation level

Compiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditors

Prepares partnership and corporate tax returns

Compiles annual operating budgets

Conducts variance analysis

Provides administrative support to the management as required.

Other duties may be required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting related position

CPA Designation

Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work

Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills

Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlinesCompetent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook

Positive team player, self-motivated and willing to learn
