Join the Vu Lab at BC Cancer as a Research Associate focusing on RNA biology in leukemia pathogenesis. This position combines independent research with collaboration on cutting-edge cancer projects.
Working at the University of British Columbia, the Vu Lab seeks a Research Associate to explore novel mechanisms of leukemogenesis. Projects involve utilizing primary patient samples and advanced genomic technologies. Candidates should have solid expertise in stem cell and cancer biology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct experiments on RNA modifications and leukemia
• Use animal models to further research objectives
• Organize and supervise student research projects
• Facilitate translational research within a cooperative team
• Analyze data and present research findings
Requirements:
• PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field
• 3 years postdoctoral experience required
• Comprehensive knowledge of molecular/cell biology
• Experience with bioinformatics and RNA biology desired
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
