The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This role is also responsible for managing administrative and clerical tasks critical to the efficient operation of the office, including office supply management, coordinating mail and deliveries, and assisting with event logistics. The Receptionist supports cross-departmental needs and contributes to maintaining a positive and organized office environment.

Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
About the role The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This role is also responsible for managing administrative and clerical tasks critical to the efficient operation of the office, including office supply management, coordinating mail and deliveries, and assisting with event logistics. The Receptionist supports cross-departmental needs and contributes to maintaining a positive and organized office environment.

What you’ll do Front Desk and Client Interaction Greet visitors warmly, offer refreshments, and escort them to meeting rooms.
Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
Handle incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence, and redirect as necessary.
Ensure a professional and friendly first impression for all visitors and clients.




Office Administration Monitor and maintain office supply inventory; place orders as needed.
Oversee office cleanliness, including maintaining kitchen supplies and watering plants.
Put out garbage/recycling bins on Monday/Wednesday, bring back in at end of day
Handle the organization, control, and coding of invoices related to office maintenance and utilities.
Assist accounting with mailing cheques and performing compliance checks.
Maintain accurate office inventory spreadsheets.
Event and Meeting Support Assist with office and company functions, including setup, takedown, and catering orders.
Manage logistics for employee anniversaries, events, and referral gift programs.
Coordinate the cutting and distribution of office keys when necessary.
Cross-Departmental Assistance Support other departments with administrative tasks based on workload and timelines.
Forward general emails and voicemails to appropriate team members.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for administrative tasks.
What you bring Experience: Minimum 2 years in an office administrative role.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite programs and general computer applications.
Core Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter, proactive, team player, and customer-focused.
