Join Elk Valley Resources for a Geotechnical Engineering Co-op starting January 2027. Experience combines academic learning with practical involvement in mining operations located in the scenic Elk Valley, British Columbia.

As a co-op student working for EVR, you will be supported on your professional journey through mentorship and the chance to engage in significant geotechnical projects. This 8 to 12 month opportunity will expose you to a diverse set of responsibilities including stability analyses, geological mapping, and health and safety compliance. Your proactive attitude and ability to manage projects will be instrumental in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct geotechnical assessments and stability analyses
• Assist in geological model updates and reconciliations




• Support ground movement and risk management activities
• Work collaboratively with geotechnical engineers
• Develop innovative solutions to improve operations

Requirements:
• Pursuit of an Undergraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering
• Class 5 Driver's License with no restrictions
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Comfort working in a dynamic outdoor setting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
