Support individuals with disabilities as a Community Living Worker at SOURCES in Cedar Grove, Langley. This casual on-call position is perfect for empathetic candidates.
You will collaborate with clients facing various life challenges and assist in promoting their independence and well-being. The role requires availability for at least one shift weekly, six statutory holidays, and one weekend per month. Experience with autism and intellectual disabilities will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster relationships and coach life skills
• Keep progress notes and document activities
• Ensure safety for staff and clients
• Implement individualized support plans
• Assist with personal care and meal planning
Requirements:
• Knowledge and/or experience in mental health
• Physically fit for hands-on support activities
• Must demonstrate empathy and integrity
• Valid driver’s license (Class 4 preferred)
• Pass a explicit criminal record check
