The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a VSM Competitiveness Manager to join our Operational Performance team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will be in charge of leading the Competitiveness activity for the VSM.
You will be part of the Operational Performance team responsible for Operationnal excellence and performance.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as VSM competitiveness manager will be to: Lead the aircraft unit cost make reduction project and deliver ~$315M of saving over 5 years;
Define new multi-year savings targets in close collaboration with Finance and cascade them to all the VSM functions;
Lead the activity of generating new ideas and be the interface for the different multi-business teams in charge of delivering improvement plans (Production, Quality, Supply, Engineering, etc.).

Your challenges: Deliver AC Unit Cost of sale Make convergence 5 years roadmap;
Secure all E2E associated projects linked to both sites Mirabel & Mobile;
Adherence to RC Make curve Hours per AC, including monitoring of technical projects, Non Conformity reduction and efficiency (16500 hours of reduction in 5 years);
Enable & drumbeat Mirabel and Mobile site evolution strategy;
Monitor 5 years Industrial plan set up: monthly review & quarterly steering;
Lead monthly production performance review per business Unit (PreFAL, FALs);
Pilot the financial Performance to meet Unit Cost Make targets;
Support reduction UCoS Make: Mirabel and Mobile in line with AOP (315M$ of saving in 5 years);
Propose and manage projects on all UCoS constituents;
Track performance of cost driver deployed for all functions and integrated in UC Make;
Monthly risk/Ops review for UC 5Y convergence;
Lead Monthly consolidated RC review : forecast, status on all projects concurring to UCos Make reduction.
Your boarding pass: You have a University degree in Management, Commerce or Finance;
You have at least five (5) years of experience in Project Management, and the ability to monitor/report projects in MFT (Multi Functional Team);
You have the ability to work with different levels of organizations (Project Lead, directors, VP) and multi-functions (Finance, Prod, Quality, Engineering..);
You have a good knowledge of Airbus finance;
You are bilingual (English and French).
