What is the opportunity?
Join RBC Global Asset Management's Client Services Operations team as a Mutual Fund Operations Analyst. You'll support PH&N; Investment Services and PH&N; Institutional businesses from our dynamic back-office located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Working alongside a cooperative team, you'll combine technical problem-solving with operational expertise to keep our mutual fund operations running smoothly and ensure our clients receive excellent service. https://www.rbcgam.com/en/ca/

What will you do?
Support Regulatory & Client Reporting (45%)

Assist with the preparation and delivery of client tax reporting for both registered and non-registered mutual fund accounts (Including T3/T5 slips, T4 income slip, contribution receipts).

Ensure timely and accurate Client Reporting is generated and delivered to our clients to satisfy regulatory obligations.

Provide Application Support (30%)

Troubleshoot and support core mutual fund applications used by the RBC GAM team members.

Test third-party software, understand impact to RBC GAM, and communicate impact to internal teams.

Become a go-to resource for application issues and optimization.

Build Automation Solutions & Improve Operations (25%)

Understand technical applications, systems architecture, and emerging technologies (AI, RPA, digital platforms). Translate technical possibilities into operational improvements and speak fluently with technology partners.

Identify operational challenges and recommend and implement creative solutions – contributing to continuous improvement, increase productivity, and error reduction. Document solutions created.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have

Understanding of mutual fund client tax and regulatory reporting.

Intermediate-to-advanced Excel & SQL skills (Creating/editing SQL queries, VBA scripts, & Macro code.)

Hands-on experience with AI,



robotic process automation (RPA), or digital workflow technologies to improve complex processes.

Robust comfort with technology and a desire to solve operational challenges.

Ability to analyze problems and recommend and implement practical solutions.

Nice-to-Have

Project management or vendor management experience

Quality Assurance or software testing background

Familiarity with LTIMindtree applications (Unitrax/DCCM)

2+ years in a fast-paced back-office or operations environment

Post-secondary education in a related field

The expected salary range for the above position is $65,000 - $75,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
