The Clinical Therapist role, based in the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, is integral to the Adult Service team in Mental Health and Addictions. You'll be involved in treatment planning, provide evidence-informed therapies, and collaborate with families to ensure effective care. This position emphasizes quality care practices, mentorship, and utilizing technology to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver both individual and group therapies for clients
• Engage families in the treatment process and recovery
• Manage crisis situations and perform suicide risk assessments
• Participate in quality initiatives within the program
Requirements:
• Master's degree in a clinical health-related field
• Minimum of 2 years licensed clinical experience
• Current registration with a relevant regulatory body
• Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for mental health disorders
• Robust communication and organizational skills
