PTW is looking for two Structural Steel Estimators in Calgary to shape Canada's industrial future. If you excel in steel fabrication estimating, come lend your expertise.
Your primary responsibility will be to produce precise estimates by collaborating with project teams and clients across various sectors. We seek candidates with 5+ years of experience and a robust grasp of the estimating software, including Tekla and Bluebeam, along with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate competitive estimates for structural steel projects
• Collaborate to optimize bidding strategies
• Evaluate structural drawings and specifications
• Utilize estimating software efficiently for accuracy
• Ensure adherence to Canadian building practices
Requirements:
• Over 5 years in steel estimating field in Canada
• Proficient understanding of take-offs and costing
• Experience interpreting construction contracts
• Knowledge of procurement processes in construction
• Proven success in bidding for industrial projects
