This recent permanent position reports to CANARIE’s Director of Finance Operations. Applicants should possess strong accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving skills. You will be crucial in supporting accurate financial reporting and help streamline operations to facilitate better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements, working papers, and reconciliations
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Analyze complex accounting transactions for compliance




• Coordinate external audit activities and reporting
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years experience in finance/accounting
• Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP
• Experience in process automation is desirable
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
