Join Wikwemikong Health Centre as a Psychologist providing holistic psychological services to children, youth, and families in Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. Deliver assessments, treatment planning, and culturally secure interventions.
This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic services within the Indigenous community. You will collaborate with health teams and community providers to ensure quality care. Key responsibilities include conducting evidence-based therapeutic interventions and maintaining accurate documentation to track progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete charting and EMR data entry accurately
• Conduct assessments and develop detailed treatment plans
• Provide culturally appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with health team members and community services
• Advocate for clients and refer to specialized services
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in Psychology required
• Registration or eligibility with relevant Ontario College
• Minimum three years of clinical experience
• Experience with Indigenous communities preferred
• Valid Class “G” driver’s license and access to a vehicle
