Concordia University seeks a highly organized Communication Officer to enhance engagement through innovative digital content creation and event support. Join our Volt-Age program to help shape Canada's sustainable energy future.
Reporting to Dr. Karim Zaghib, you will support communications and knowledge mobilization for one of Canada's largest research initiatives. This role is ideal for a team-oriented individual passionate about effective storytelling through multimedia content, social media management, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and publish engaging content for social media platforms
• Create written and visual materials, including videos and graphics
• Maintain and update the Volt-Age website regularly
• Support the planning and execution of events and workshops
• Monitor communications performance and provide strategic insights
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
• Minimum two years of communications experience
• Bilingual in English and French, with strong writing skills
• Proficiency in graphic design software and content management systems
• Experience supporting events is a strong asset
