The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for a Head of Strategic Projects & Governance – Industrial Sector to join our "Chief Industrial Office" team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). In this role, you will work jointly with Program, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering (ME), and Operations teams, as well as various European Centers of Competence (specifically OMS and OMI teams).
You will be part of the "Chief Industrial Office" team, which serves as the Industrial Authority for the program. The team is responsible for the performance and stability of the industrial system, driving program ramp-up, and preparing for the future. Our organizational structure promotes autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your role as Strategic Projects and Governance Coordinator will be to ensure governance consistency and manage cross-functional, strategic projects within the A220 Chief Industrial Office.

Your Challenges:
Align and direct key functions within the A220 Chief Industrial Officer (CIO) organization to structure the strategic vision, guide executive decision-making, and amplify the CIO's voice
Architect and connect the function's governance ecosystem with Value Stream Management (VSM) to ensure optimal strategic alignment
Lead the portfolio of strategic, cross-functional, and major transformation projects, ensuring the overall coherence of the industrial roadmap
Ensure strategic alignment across all levels (executive, management, operational) as well as with cross-functional departments
Manage and optimize budgets allocated to strategic projects and the function
Cascade the strategy to all stakeholders and represent the Chief Industrial Officer in key decision-making bodies while maintaining strategic alignment at every level (executive, management, operational)
Act as Deputy to the Chief Industrial Officer during strategic governance meetings
Design the strategic management framework (KPIs, forward-looking dashboards) to anticipate risks, inform business decisions, and ensure proactive governance of the functionPlan EPMR/PMR reviews with key suppliers (Extended Make-Suppliers)
Ensure operational excellence by defining and evolving the industrial model and key processes for the Chief Industrial Officer function
Analyze and optimize the industrial system across the value chain to eliminate disruptions and cost of non-quality (CNQ)
Provide industrial expertise within multi-functional teams (MFTs), including participating in Call for Tenders (CFT) for Recent Product Introduction (NPI), Transfer of Work (ToW), and dual sourcing
Perform problem-solving, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
Your Boarding pass:
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
You have more than 10 years of experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector
You have at least 5 years of experience in a strategic leadership, program management, or corporate governance role within the aerospace industry
You have proven experience in project or program management
You possess functional fluency in both English and French
You are equipped with strong political acumen, business sense, and excellent synthesis skills
You are recognized for your ability to influence, coordinate, and manage stakeholders up to the executive level
You are highly autonomous, possess strong interpersonal skills, and thrive in an international team environment
