Join Sparwood Secondary School as a part time English and Social Studies Teacher for grades 7-8 and 10. Teach engaging lessons in English and Social Studies for mixed grades in a supportive environment.

This temporary role (0.857 FTE) runs from September 9, 2026, to June 25, 2027. Ideal candidates have formal training in English and History at the Secondary level. You will inspire students in English 7, English 8, Social Studies 7, Social Studies 8, and Social Studies 10 while making a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lessons in English and Social Studies for various grades
• Engage students with interactive teaching methodologies
• Assess and evaluate student progress effectively
• Implement curriculum-specific strategies for diverse learners
• Collaborate with colleagues for enhanced educational outcomes

Requirements:
• BC Teacher Certification preferred
• Degree or formal training in relevant subjects
• Teaching experience at the Secondary level
• Commitment to onsite teaching
• Clearance from the Criminal Records Review Act
