In this position, you will support speech-language services for children by implementing therapy activities designed by the Speech and Language Pathologist. Your responsibilities will include preparing materials, documenting progress, and assisting in individual and group interventions. This is a vital role focusing on healthy development and cognitive growth in our community's youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement therapy activities based on individual service plans
• Deliver speech support in one-on-one or small group settings
• Prepare session materials and visual supports for interventions
• Observe and document children's performance during sessions
• Support screenings and assessments as directed by the SLP
Requirements:
• Diploma in Speech and Language Assistant or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in educational settings
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt plans for individual child needs
• Valid driver's license and access to transportation
