At RainCity Housing, we're hiring a Support Worker to assist in our Sheltering Services. This role focuses on providing emergency support to individuals experiencing homelessness who may face complex mental health and substance use challenges. You will facilitate shelter operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the safety and security of residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency shelter and support to residents
• Manage daily operations including cleaning and food service




• Conduct shelter intakes and maintain shift communication
• Support individuals in dealing with complex social issues
• Participate in team building and staff training activities

Requirements:
• Diploma in community social services
• Two years relevant experience in social services
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check
• Flexibility in responding to resident needs
