Become a vital member of Voyageur Aviation Corp. as an Aircraft Painter Prep Technician in North Bay, Ontario. This role focuses on aircraft surface preparation and quality assurance for high-quality finishes.

As a key player in the Paint Shop team, the Aircraft Painter Prep Technician prepares aircraft surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and masking. Reporting to the Paint Shop Supervisor, your attention to detail will ensure paint quality while adhering to safety standards and operational excellence. You will work closely with Aircraft Painters and other technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding and cleaning
• Mask sensitive components for protection during paint
• Assist with disassembly and reassembly of aircraft




• Support the maintenance of clean work areas
• Inspect surfaces before paint application for specifications

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in aircraft or industrial painting preferred
• Knowledge of paint preparation and finishing techniques
• Robust attention to detail and quality
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
