Make a difference as a Child and Youth Mental Health Worker at Wikwemikong Health Centre. This role focuses on providing clinical assessments and culturally appropriate services to children and youth in Wikwemikong.
As a Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions Worker, you will be accountable for delivering assessments, treatment, and counseling for children under 18. You will actively promote mental health awareness and participate in community initiatives, including the Outdoor Adventure Leadership Experience program. This role is vital in enhancing mental well-being through culturally sensitive approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide culturally relevant counseling services

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a helping discipline
• Experience providing services to Indigenous youth
• Knowledge of First Nation program delivery
• Skills in conducting interviews, assessments, and therapy
