At Aarcomm, we are proud of our culture. You'll be part of a team that is smart, hardworking, professional and creative. Our environment is friendly, inclusive, multicultural, and high performing. We take our work seriously, support each other, and genuinely enjoy working together.

ABOUT YOU
You are a strategic, proactive supply chain leader who knows that great supply chain management is about more than placing purchase orders. You build strong vendor relationships, anticipate risk, negotiate effectively, use data to make decisions, and create the structure needed to keep production moving.

You bring a strong sense of urgency, take ownership, and are comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving environment where you can make a visible impact. You are equally comfortable analyzing ERP data, meeting with suppliers, collaborating across internal departments, mentoring a small team, and stepping onto the warehouse floor when needed.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will take ownership of purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory, logistics, and supply chain planning. You will lead a small team while partnering closely with Production, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems before they become emergencies, using data to make better decisions, negotiating with suppliers, and building processes that make a growing operation more predictable and resilient.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead and develop a team across purchasing, inventory, and shipping/receiving.

Own supplier relationships,

sourcing, qualification, performance, and negotiations.

Manage contract manufacturers and suppliers across PCB assembly, box-build, injection molding, machine shops, and electronics components.

Develop supply, inventory, demand, and material plans that support production and customer commitments

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including shortages, long-lead and single-source components, supplier capacity, end-of-life parts, tariffs, and market disruptions

Partner cross-functionally to proactively resolve material, production, and logistics issues before they impact customers

Track supplier KPIs include on-time delivery, quality, cost, lead-time reliability, and responsiveness, driving corrective action where needed

Use Odoo ERP and Excel to analyze supply chain data, improve visibility, and support decision-making

Oversee inventory planning and control, including replenishment, cycle counts, accuracy, inventory turns, and obsolete stock

Oversee domestic, international, and cross-border logistics, including freight, customs, import/export, and carrier relationships.

Improve SOPs, reporting, processes, and tools that strengthen visibility, accountability, and scalability

Support warehouse operations when needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, materials, inventory, or logistics management, ideally in manufacturing or a technical environment.

Robust vendor management and negotiation experience is essential

Experience with sourcing, supplier qualification, RFQs purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance

Strong knowledge of material planning, forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain risk

ERP proficiency and a data-driven approach; Odoo experience is strongly preferred

Experience with domestic/international freight, customs, import/export, HS codes, tariffs, and Canada–US shipping

Strong analytical,

problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Experience leading, mentoring, or developing a team

A hands-on, proactive, collaborative approach with urgency and ownership to solve problems before they affect production or customers

NICE TO HAVE

Experience in electronics, electromechanical products, industrial hardware, or technical manufacturing

Experience with PCB assembly, box-build manufacturing, injection molding, machine shops, contract manufacturers, or electronics distributors

Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related education, or equivalent experience

APICS or related professional designation

Experience navigating major supply disruptions while improving cost and inventory performance

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE:

No production line-down events caused by supply chain or material availability issues

Reliable, on-time material availability supporting production and customer commitments.

Stronger supplier performance across delivery, quality, cost, and lead times.

Meaningful contribution to Aarcomm's operational cost-reduction goals.

Progress toward reducing standard customer lead times.

Improved inventory turns, accuracy, control, and reduced obsolete stock.

Proactive supplier engagement and supply chain risk mitigation.

Accurate ERP data and reporting that enable better decisions.

A capable, accountable, and well-developed supply chain team.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
At Aarcomm, we prioritize our team and reward your hard work! As part of our dedicated and dynamic team, you can expect:

Generous paid time-off, starting with 15 vacation days, 2 PTO days, 5 sick days

Enjoy company perks such as team events and convenient on-site parking.

This role is fully on-site in Coquitlam.
