Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Manager, Production, you lead the manufacturing production team and all its associated responsibilities at our local manufacturing facility. Driving the continuous improvement of our production processes to ensure we meet and exceed all manufacturing KPIs and targets inclusive of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and costs. Youare responsible forbuildinga strong teamofleaders in production andskilled manufacturing employees whiledemonstratingstrong desireto coachand empowerbehaviors that are aligned with Arc’teryx culture andvalues. You partner closely with Engineering, quality,trainingand supply planningtoachieve overallfactory and company goalswithsynergy.

ARC’One, our manufacturing facility in New Westminster, is home to a team of skilled makers and technicians who bring Arc’teryx products to life. Located near our Design Center, the facility plays an important role in how we prototype, test, refine and manufacture the technical gear we are known for.

Some of our most technically complexproducts,including Alpha SV and new productpilots,are built here. The facility also supportsReBIRDrepair and renewal programs, helping extend the life ofArc’teryxgear.Thisis hands-on, precision work where craftsmanship,problem-solvingand continuous improvement come together on the production floor. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Overseeproductionoperations,continually evaluating,andbuildingsynergyacross Production and other factory supporting teams

Accountable for all production pillars from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring all KPIs are being met or exceeded

OptimizeARC’Onecapacity through process and system improvement,influencingscalable product mix solutions and smart talent acquisition,retentionand development plans

Responsibleforachievingalignment with Supply Planning on capacity plan on all product lines as well as delivery datesand shared KPIs

Develop effectiveworkforce plans to ensureexpected capacityis availableor adjusted with alignment from stakeholders

Develop,implementand evolve the necessary Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure all critical activities related to Production performance

Build and fully communicate daily, weekly, and monthly targets by department and ensure the factory management team is focused on pre-aligned production prioritiestodeliver the result accordingly

Prepare and communicate production statusupdateand other relevant information to Supply Chain team in weekly meetings,partneringto alleviate production delays and unexpected changes





Collaborate with Engineering and other production support teams to ensure the New Product Introduction process is meeting milestones;empoweryour team to provideand receivefeedback to supportmutual learning that contribute toDFM

Align with the Quality team on brand and productquality expectations and mentor andcoach the rightbehaviorsin production team to uphold quality standards

Lead, mentor, coach and develop a team ofhighperformingProduction Leadersbyestablishingappropriate levelof accountability,structureand processesin order todrive the necessary behaviors to deliver results

Coach our frontline leaders to collaboratewith our training team todevelop processes and strategies toidentifyknowledge,skilland ability gapsas well as high potential talentswithinall productionteamsand develop a prioritized training plan to address our needs

Evolve ourraw materialplanningandmanagement process inourfactorywith our Planning teamtocreate more visibilitysupporting the goals toreduce shortages and excess raw material

Yousupport with other special projects as assigned

Are you our next Senior Manager, Production?

You have a Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Operations/Manufacturing Management and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

You have10+years of manufacturing experienceand5+ yearsin aleadershiprole (apparel manufacturing is a bonus)

Youcanseta clear visionin support of the company vision, put plans together to deliver the vision, and communicate and align your teamand cross-functionallyon the common vision andobjectiveforoptimalexecution

You have acomplete understanding of the product lifecycleprocess

You have proventrack recordfor setting up andmaintainingan excellent manufacturing environment

You have a proven ability to influence and collaborate with a group of cross-functional stakeholders

You have provenpeopleleadership,mentorshipand project management skills

Youdemonstrateinitiative,agilityandcommitment

You haveproven ability to work cross-functionally withexcellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal)skills

You are detailed andaccuracyoriented with strong organizationalskills

You are proactive inidentifyingthe root cause of issues and developingsolutions

You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuousimprovement

$125,000 - $156,000 a year





A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$125,000 - CAD$156,000 at the time of this posting.
