Associate Veterinarian Privately Owned, Low-Stress Handling Certified Practice

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Salary: $110,000- $135,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals.

Practice low-stress handling and gentle patient care techniques during check-ups, diagnostics, and procedures.

Build trusting,



informative partnerships with pet parents regarding nutrition, preventative care, and treatment plans.

Perform routine surgeries, soft-tissue procedures, and dental treatments.

Maintain complete and accurate digital medical records.

Collaborate effectively with our dedicated technicians and client support team.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent recognized degree.

Licensure: Eligible for or currently holds a valid license with the Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association (NSVMA).

Experience: All experience levels are welcome to apply, including confident new graduates.

Skills: Excellent communication, a compassionate demeanor, and a commitment to low-stress handling principles.

Bilingualism (English / French) is considered a valuable asset.
