As Maintenance Aide at Chartwell, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our residence, equipment, and grounds meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your hands‑on skills and problem‑solving ability will help create a comfortable, worry‑free home for our residents, while supporting the smooth operation of the community.

What You’ll Do

Help with regular maintenance tasks and keep records up to date

Repair and maintain furniture, fixtures, outdoor spaces, and common areas

Respond quickly to maintenance requests and report issues as needed

Prepare suites for new residents, including small repairs and painting

Assist with preparing suites for new occupancy, including minor carpentry and painting

Keep supplies organized and follow all health, safety, and infection control rules

What You’ll Bring

Secondary school education or equivalent experience

Previous maintenance experience and ability to use equipment safely

Solid teamwork and communication skills with staff, residents, and vendors

Organized and able to keep work areas safe, clean, and efficient

Committed to providing excellent customer service

Additional Requirements

Ability to perform frequent physical duties including bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting tools or equipment





Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required

Preparedness to respond to emergency situations

Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
