FFCA is seeking an Alberta-certified teacher for a 1.0 FTE position at the Northwest Elementary Campus, starting October 8, 2026, through June 29, 2027. Ideal candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching, a supportive approach to student learning, and a commitment to the Direct Instruction Teaching and Learning Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and assess lessons based on Teaching Quality Standards
• Deliver educational programs as per the Education Act
• Assess and report student performance consistently




• Create a safe and caring classroom setting
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the Principal Educator
Requirements:
• Valid Alberta Education teaching certification
• Police information check and first aid certification required
• Passion for education and student success
• Capability to foster structured learning environments
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
