Position: Member of Technical Staff, Finance Research

Type: Full time

Compensation: $400K - $800K/yr

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

Design and evolve evaluation frameworks for AI agents in financial domains, including benchmark suites and scoring methodologies.

Conduct original research on financial reasoning and decision-making, translating findings into measurable improvements in AI performance.

Develop and curate datasets and benchmark environments that reflect real-world enterprise finance challenges.

Collaborate with researchers and engineers to evaluate and improve finance-focused models and agentic systems.

Analyze model behavior and performance trends to generate actionable insights and guide research priorities.





Publish research findings and best practices that enhance understanding of AI capabilities in finance.

Requirements

Have an advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related field, with a PhD strongly preferred.

Possess deep domain expertise in finance areas such as investment research, capital markets, or risk management.

Have demonstrated experience in conducting rigorous research and developing analytical methodologies in finance.

Have strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a proven track record of solving complex problems.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing research reports.
