Position Description The Senior Financial Analyst is a key finance partner supporting the Consumer business. This role is responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and strategic recommendations that enable business leaders to make informed decisions and drive profitable growth. Working closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Product Management, the Senior Financial Analyst translates financial and operational data into actionable insights, identifies opportunities to improve financial performance, and helps shape business strategy. The role also plays an important part in the planning and reporting cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and quarterly financial reviews.
What You Will Do Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions and improve financial performance.
Partner with key business leaders within Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to deliver on business objectives.
Preparation of financial models and ad hoc analysis to support leadership.
Provide support for month end reporting, forecasting, & budget process.
Maintain financial datasets, providing accurate profitability analysis for a category level.
Development and implementation of new reporting tools to meet growing business demands.
Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements.
Play a key role in the preparation of the Quarterly Financial Operations Review.
Participate in strategic financial projects.
Responsible for category level P&L; variance analysis and explanations.
What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
Fully designated CPA, or close to completion
3+ years' finance and accounting experience - preferably for a large corporation
Commercial Finance Experience
Experience leading/managing projects highly desired
Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Access
Previous SAP and/or HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience is a plus
Proficiency in accounting and financial analysis
Flexible, self-starter with ability to work independently
Detail oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Team-oriented with ability to interact with all levels of employees in a professional and positive manner
Results driven individual with a track record to support
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Project management skills, organized, ability to multitask with careful attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
