Support students at Our Lady of the Way School as an Interim Replacement Educational Assistant. Engage in a meaningful role that focuses on special education and student needs from August 2026 to January 2027.

This full time position with THE NORTHWEST CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD welcomes CUPE members and external applicants. Your main duties will include assisting in modifying educational programs, providing direct support, and attending to students' physical needs. Effective communication and the ability to follow directions are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in program modification and implementation
• Attend to students' physical and personal hygiene needs




• Supervise students during breaks and trips
• Maintain effective communication with educational staff
• Support in developing behavior management programs

Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Completion of Educational Assistant course
• Understanding of special education needs
• Ability to manage aggressive behaviors
