Join Alberta Newsprint Company as a Contract Shipper/Receiver in Whitecourt, Alberta. We need a detail-focused individual with robust multi-tasking abilities and a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

In this role, you will efficiently manage inventory, shipping, and receiving activities with minimal supervision. Your hands-on approach will ensure organization and accuracy, essential for maintaining the flow of goods within the distribution center. Enjoy working Monday through Friday in a contract position with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload freight from trucks and equipment
• Organize stock items and maintain the laydown area
• Receive inventory and track it accurately
• Negotiate shipping rates and handle Customs paperwork
• Participate in inventory counting and housekeeping tasks

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of hands-on shipping/receiving experience
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs repetitively
• Robust problem-solving skills necessary
• Familiarity with inventory systems preferred
