Join The Salvation Army as a Shift Lead, making a difference in client support operations. This role focuses on safety, supervision, and documentation in a dynamic workplace.
As a Shift Lead, you will work closely with marginalized individuals at the Warming Center. Your strong sense of integrity and the ability to de-escalate situations will enhance the quality of care provided. Collaborate with staff while documenting key incidents to ensure safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support residents through engagement and supervision
• Complete daily reports and incident documentation
• Oversee shifts and communication among direct support workers
• Address emergencies and provide crisis intervention
• Attend team meetings to discuss operational updates
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year in a related residential role
• Experience in Mental Health and Addictions preferred
• Diploma in Social Services or equivalent required
• CPR First Aid certification highly valued
• Patience and problem-solving aptitude
