Homewood Health is seeking a part-time bilingual Solution Focused Counsellor in Rouyn-Noranda and Val d'Or, Quebec. Provide in-person, short-term counseling for individuals and families facing various mental health challenges.

This role requires a registered mental health professional to deliver highly focused solution-oriented therapy in a contract capacity. You will address concerns like depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Collaboration with the clinical management team ensures adherence to skilled standards and best practices to effectively serve adults, couples, families, and children.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide solution-oriented counseling addressing various client concerns
• Work with individuals, couples, families, and children




• Engage in clinical consultations as necessary
• Maintain professional standards and best practices
• Document and report on client progress thoroughly

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in counseling or equivalent experience
• Registered with a provincial regulatory body
• Minimum of 3 years counseling experience in related settings
• Proficient in English and French; additional languages are an asset
• Professional liability insurance coverage required
