As a Light Equipment Operator, you will handle day-to-day maintenance of town infrastructure, ensuring safety and cleanliness. Required skills include operating light equipment, performing snow removal, and conducting repairs on roads and drainage systems. You will maintain essential operations at the Town Transfer Station and ensure timely communication with the Roads Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate light equipment such as trucks and loaders
• Perform winter snow clearing and salting operations
• Inspect and repair culverts, catch basins,



and sewers
• Conduct roadside maintenance and debris pickup
• Provide traffic control and setup barricades for safety

Requirements:
• Two years’ experience in Public Works or Operations
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License
• Knowledge of traffic control procedures
• Computer literacy with MS Office and software
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in all weather
