Seattle Public Schools is hiring a Special Education Budget Operations Analyst to drive operational efficiency and compliance. This role combines strategic budget oversight and detailed operational analysis.
In this senior role, you will support the Executive Director by managing the Special Education budget and staffing requirements. Your responsibilities will include analyzing expenditures, developing reporting systems, and ensuring transparency in budgetary processes. You will engage in effective problem-solving and lead initiatives that positively impact the department’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise the Special Education Budget operations
• Develop and implement systems for financial reporting and compliance
• Provide training and support on budgetary procedures
• Analyze grievances and prepare relevant statistical data
• Monitor current educational research and trends relevant to the role
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in financial management or relevant field
• Minimum five years of experience in budget development and analysis
• Proficiency in managing complex fiscal control data
• Solid leadership and training skills
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and background clearance
