Job Title: Service Coordinator
Location: Halifax, NS
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

The Service Coordinator will support daily service department operations by assisting customers, coordinating work orders, processing service documentation, and supporting communication between customers, technicians, and internal team members.

This role requires someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable handling front-line service support, administrative tasks, POS transactions, and basic accounting-related duties.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers at the service counter in a professional manner
- Receive and process customer equipment for repair
- Ensure service documentation is accurate and complete
- Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and take messages as required
- Coordinate service department workflow to support timely completion of work orders
- Prepare and process work orders, POS transactions, and related administrative documents
- Complete data entry and basic accounting tasks related to service operations




- Communicate with customers regarding service updates, parts availability, and equipment pickup
- Maintain organized records of equipment and parts received for repair
- Support inventory tracking related to service items and repair parts
- Perform additional administrative and service coordination duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Previous customer service, office administration, or service coordination experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic accounting or POS experience considered an asset
- Basic knowledge of lawn and garden tools considered an asset
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy service department environment
