JOB DESCRIPTION
The Finance Shared Services Student Data Analyst position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure in the Finance field within a large and diversified organization. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative setting while contributing to meaningful projects that drive business insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work as part of a team focused on data analysis and visualization to support Finance operations.
- Gain exposure and hands-on learning with Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Assist with project work and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data quality.
- Review financial and operational data, providing insights and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support the management and implementation of Finance initiatives, including reporting and analytics enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS

- University student enrolled in a Business, Commerce, Information Technology, Analytics, or related program and in good academic standing.
- Available for the Winter 2027 Work Term.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in Analytics, Finance, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
